What an honour was to be declared the winner of the award for best investigative food writing (2023) by The Guild of Food Writers. Thank you to the Guild for the recognition, and for a great evening celebrating writing about food culture, food history, food politics, and the joys of eating real food.
I'm thrilled to be working with Piatkus Books on my new book, The Great Plant-Based Con, acquired in May 2020. The book has been described as a "much needed counterweight to the arguments for a plant-based diet." Find out more here.
I'll be working hard to deliver the book by the end of the year. In the meantime, you can follow my contributions to the debate about food, health and the environment on Twitter (@jaynereesbuxton) and here.
